Overview
An unconventional portrait of Richmond, viewed from within. Painted in a historic residence, built 1892.
The landscape around me is saturated with memory. I've spent my whole life here, and everywhere I go now I wade through time. I still explore the city, seeking future memories, and stumbling on moments I had forgotten.
This design was also produced in poster format for the project When You Think Of Home. When You Think Of Home have coordinated with over a hundred artists to create poster designs representing myriad evocations of HOME. This project benefits Acres Of Love, a non-profit providing forever homes to orphans in South Africa. Each 12"x16" print is $24, with full proceeds supporting Acres of Love.
