Floyd Ave Elevator

Overview

John and Maria have a beautiful art-deco styled home, complete with a small elevator that has a pull-gate style door. When you take a ride in this elevator, you can now see a 30-foot tall continuous design slide slowly past you as you ascend from basement to second story. The video above captures the full interior design from top to bottom.

The design is based on a boldly engraved elevator door from an art deco building in Detroit. See below for process and pictures of the original design.
