Sunroom: FINITO!

Kathy wanted to brighten up her sunroom with a butterfly garden, and take a stab at something exciting. Jay had but one request - for a single luna moth.

This mural is grown from 15 different kinds of flowering plants that are native to Virginia and loved by butterflies. One plant of each species is labeled with a little blue banner announcing its common name.

A light smattering of butterflies populate the room, representing some of the more creatively named species local to the region. For example: The Hackberry Emperor, the Ruddy Daggerwing, and the Little Metalmark.
