Iceland in Connecticut
Overview
This bathroom mural is in my uncle and aunt's house in West Hartford CT, and was sparked by a serendipitous coordination of Iceland vacations. My uncle's black and white bathroom had this big blank wall just begging for a mural, and we were all on a serious viking kick.
The mystical creatures overlooking this simplified Icelandic countryside are all based on real motifs in viking artifacts.
